Drawing Sketch from Photographs
Pencil sketches of people, pets, animals, buildings, and other subjects based on photographs. I draw exactly what I see in the photograph and usually leave out the background from the specific subject unless you specifically request it. The desired outcome is a drawing that accurately captures the subject’s likeness, character, and mood.
Pencil drawings, as shown in the gallery below do not include as much detail as my pencil portraits and therefore a command a lower. Pencil drawings are drawn on Bristol Board extra smooth service drawing pad with an ivory black drawing pencil. To prevent smearing and smudging, I spray gloss varnish on the drawings from photos, which forms a colourless glass clear coating.
